How Pixop pricing works
We are a pay-as-you-use service. You pay per gigapixel for processing and per gigabyte for storage and downloads. The minimum purchase is $10 and processing credits are generally non-refundable*
Upon sign up
Please note that we do not have a free tier. All users who sign up have up to 14 days to look around the app to get familiar with it and decide whether they want to continue as Pixop users. During this time, you have access to a limited number of features, but will not be able to upload, download, make clips, or process videos. If you decide to continue, you will have to add your payment information within 14 days, otherwise, your account will automatically be deleted. If you have bulk processing needs and want access to our REST API, please get in touch for our enterprise options.
Processing credits
Once you have added your payment information, you can upload your videos but you have to purchase processing credits before you can start processing videos or clips. Once you’ve uploaded your video and clicked the process button, Pixop automatically calculates the costs for the processing job and prompts you to buy processing credits or more if you don’t have enough. You can follow all costs for the jobs you processing by going to My Account (your initials in the top right-hand corner) and choosing Billing > Processing transactions.
Utilities
You also pay for utilities, which include storage and downloads. We run a weekly check on all accounts and process charges to your card or PayPal as soon as you spend $10 or more (excluding VAT) on storage and downloads. We do this so you don't accidentally rack up huge bills and can keep an eye on your spending. AWS rates are passed on directly without any extra charges. If you want to keep bills for storage at a minimum, remember to delete all files you do not use. You can follow all costs for Utilies by going to My Account (your initials in the top right-hand corner) and choosing Billing > Utilities transactions in your account
